DOT return to work issues?
Fail or refuse a drug test on the job? Department of Transportation’s Drug and Alcohol Regulations prohibit you from returning to DOT safety-sensitive duties until you complete the DOT SAP return-to-duty process so we encourage you to call Ricky Huggins, LADC-MH, SAP, at (918) 617-6839 or 479-650-9691 to schedule a SAP Initial Evaluation at once. You get:
- A Next-Day confidential appointment within 48 hours.
- Initial phone consultation on request
- Call 479-650-9691 or 918-617-6839 to schedule.
DOT US Department of Transportation
DOT SAP return-to-duty guidelines exist for a potential or current employee/employee who is found to be operating in a safety-sensitive position under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Department of Transportation regulations requires all employers to give employees SAP contact information, regaurdless of a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy in place.
Ricky Huggins LADC-MH is an approved SAP that can help you with compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
How does the SAP process work?
First, a confirmed DOT violation happens. After this, the employee must stop safety-sensitive duties, and cannot return to safety-sensitive duties until the employee completes the DOT-regulated return-to-duty process. So a face-to-face initial SAPevaluation, then a recommendation to be done and finally a follow-up SAP evaluation is done. Then a Return-To-Duty-Test is done by your present or future employer when you go back to work in safety-sensitive duties per DOT regulations.

Fees & Insurance Information
- Fees for all counseling and therapy services are $85 for a 45-minute session.
- There is no charge for brief phone consultations under 15 minutes in length.
Insurance
I am an in-network provider for HealthChoice insurance. If you are covered by any other insurance plan, I am considered an out-of-network provider. In those instances, you will need to pay me directly after each session, and then I will provide you with a receipt for services (commonly called a “superbill”), which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration.
Out-of-network coverage varies by plan, so before you schedule an appointment, I recommend that you contact your plan administrator or insurance company to understand the specific out-of-network coverage benefits provided under your plan. Some helpful questions to ask of them include:
- What is the maximum allowable rate you will reimburse me for out-of-network services?
- Is there a deductible that has to be met before I am reimbursed for out-of-network therapy sessions? If so, what is the deductible, and how close am I to meeting it?
- Is there are limit as to the number of sessions for which you will reimburse me?
Payment
Cash, check, and most credit cards are accepted for payment at the time services are rendered. You may have a health savings account (HSAs) and or a flexible spending account (FSAs) previously designated for such purposes. Please make checks or online payments payable to Ricky Huggins.
Cancellation Policy
To avoid being charged for the full cost of your session, please contact me at (479) 650-9691 at least 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends) to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I am currently booked a few weeks out, so providing me with this notice allows me the opportunity to serve new and existing clients who are on the waiting list.
